3 Things That Consistency Will Bring
Jeff Bezos talked about change, with two questions under scope:
He was frequently asked that “what will change in the next 10 years?”
He argued, the more important question was what would not change in the next 10 years.
He knew, the customers of Amazon will always want low prices. They expect fast delivery. They love vast selection.
So putting effort into those things will always pay off.
“If you believe something is true over time, you can afford to put a lot of effort into it.”
And this story is leading the key word of this weeks thoughts.
Last week we talked about the bebetter pentagon. It was about becoming better in 5 different directions.
Today I want to give a small tip about how to approach it.
From the best angle I know. Most basic one.
Just being consistent.
And I believe consistency can help us in 3 ways:
1 ) Best Favor to Your Future Self
If you dream about being someone that works out daily, you have to start incredibly small at day 1.
You actually want to make sure you do as little as 3 minutes. Nothing more. Not even you wanted to.
Because you are not trying to workout 2 hours in one day and get burnt out.
You are trying to get in shape for life.
It’s the best gift to our future self.
2) Self Confidence
The best way to gain confidence about anything is to get experienced on it.
So, whether you are reading more about Emotional Intelligence, working to make something valuable or practicing mindfulness; you’ll see that the path becoming clearer every single day.
You’ll become braver. And you’ll stretch your comfort zone just a little bit more.
3) Why not?
This is the one that strikes me most.
Years passed before I get to know about what I didn’t know.
That I’m a horrible communicator, knew almost nothing about health physically and psychologically. How money worked was basically a mystery for me.
Now that I have the opportunity to see my shortcomings.
I feel like now it’s the game time.
Chasing the dream.
Being better, every day.
With a lovely quote, I want to thank you for your time:
